I abhor darkness! I want to vent!! ????

I hope you're well.

I want to vent oooo!! I want to rant, but I'll do so in English, so you all can relate.

Forgive me please. I'm late today.

Here's the reason,

Fun Fact #GTKM_Day5: I absolutely abhor the absence of illumination.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not afraid of the dark.

Darkness and I aren’t in a toxic relationship or anything. But the deliberate denial of light (electrical power) is a villainous act I simply cannot condone.

I woke up with grand plans today, contemplating which juicy secret to share with you all for Day 5 of our little getting-to-know-me series. Then BAM! The people holding power in my country decided it wasn't our time to shine today.

I've had a meltdown of monumental proportions.

No electricity, no productivity, no peace. The house suddenly felt like a sweaty, suffocating sauna, dirty, disorganized, and entirely unlivable.

My gadgets? dead.

My routine? Ruined.

My mood? Don’t ask.

I cannot survive rural life. Sure, fresh foods are lovely and all, but I need electricity ??. I need my fan, my gadgets, and my ability to function without feeling like I’m in a medieval heatwave. God didn’t bless us with the brains to invent electricity just for us to live like cavemen. (abi na?)

Even God Himself took one look at the void and said, “Let there be light.” And guess what? There was light. So, please, if God Himself values the power of illumination, why should I settle for darkness? ??

In passing, may all those entrusted with providing power in this country be touched by the same light they withhold. And may they find it in their hearts (and their budgets) to grant us the continuous current we deserve, at least for Band A residents (like us)

Because honestly, Light is life, and I was not built for this blackout nonsense.

I'm a baby girl. I deserve the soft life, don't I? ????

How’s that for some light-hearted (pun intended) venting? ??
