At the CES 2024, Hyundai Motor Company (?????) unveiled its future plans, emphasizing hydrogen energy and software innovations. Themed ‘Ease every way,’ the company's approach integrates human-centric life innovations with advanced technology.
Hydrogen Energy and Environmental Commitment
Hyundai has been a pioneer in hydrogen energy, leading the market in hydrogen-powered vehicle sales. At the core of their sustainability roadmap, hydrogen energy is seen as a key to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Hyundai introduced the HTWO brand, expanding its commitment to a hydrogen value chain, encompassing production, storage, transportation, and utilization. This initiative aligns with global efforts, such as the U.S. National Clean Hydrogen Strategy and the International Hydrogen Trade Forum.
Software-defined Everything (SDx) Strategy
Hyundai also announced its SDx strategy, aiming to redefine vehicles, fleets, and transportation systems with software and AI. This approach seeks to decouple hardware and software, enabling independent updates and advancements. The company aims to enhance user experience through a new infotainment system and integration of a large language model into their AI assistant.
Global Hydrogen Projects and Collaboration
Hyundai's global hydrogen projects, such as the Waste-to-Hydrogen initiative in Indonesia and the Clean Logistics Project in Georgia, USA, showcase the practical application of their hydrogen solutions. These projects aim to foster regional acceptance of hydrogen energy and establish a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure.

9 个月But this Blue Link Problem and Terrible Corporate Customer Service has really soured me on the brand. Now on June 11, Customer Care Rep Cimose told me there is still no update on my ticket. No update after 7 weeks! Unreal. No one there cares or is concerned. UNACCEPTABLE! I then spoke with Cimose’s Supervisor, Nikkida, and she is sympathetic, but said they cannot enroll me on line. But, she said she would elevate it. Of Course I head that same reply on each of my other calls- but nothing has happened. Between Cimose and Nikkida I was on the phone for 37 minutes THIS TIME. This was my 4th call. A complete waste of my time. I am done calling. I will stop sharing this true, sad and embarrassing information after Hyundai restores my Blue Link service. Until then, the facts and open case, CASE 23180422 will be shared as widely as possible. Mark

1 年As far as I know, Hyundai's commitment to hydrogen energy and software innovations at CES 2024 is groundbreaking for an established automaker. The integration of the HTWO brand and their SDx strategy reflects a forward-thinking approach to sustainability and technology. The global hydrogen projects and collaboration efforts demonstrate Hyundai's dedication to creating a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure. This resembles Tesla strategy of a proprietary system vehicle + fueling stations, combined with huge data acquisition and AI. That’s the first time I hear about an established automaker going into this direction. #Hyundai #CES2024 #HydrogenFuture ??"

1 年It follows what I’m saying for long time: Future vehicles will no longer be just”cars”. They will be very specific. No, hydrogen vehicles will not replace BEVs where specific needs call for BEVs; but it’s stupid to think of BEVs as the whole solution for everything, like we did for so many years with oil. Also, BEVs will not replace H2 vehicles at their specific needs. And H2 or synthetic fuels will be needed for the future of aviation. Just to mention transportation. There are also industry needs to solve, with their own specific needs.
