Hydroponics: Smart solution for soilless Production.
As the high rising population of our planet soars & arable land available for crop production declines, Hydroponics systems offer us many new innovative doors which provide us lifeline solutions, for crop production and feeding each one. Soilless agriculture is a viable option for the agricultural production industry, particularly in locations where soil deterioration is severe and water supply is restricted. Furthermore, this agronomic technique represents a positive reaction to environmentally friendly agriculture as well as a promising strategy in the face of a broader food security crisis.
Gardening without soil is known as hydroponics. The word "hydroponics" comes from the Latin word "working water." Water works to provide nutrients, moisture, and oxygen to plant life in the absence of soil. Hydroponic gardens generate gorgeous fruits and flowers in half the time by using little area, 90% less water than traditional agriculture, and innovative design. The plant nutrients which are derived from the soil, are simply dissolved into nutrient medium water, depending upon the type of hydroponic system used, the plant roots are suspended or flooded with the nutrient solution, by this the plant absorbs all the required elements for its growth & development.

First, hydroponics approaches allow people to grow food in areas where traditional agriculture is impossible. Hydroponics has been used for decades in locations with arid weather. This science enables residents in these locations to consume locally grown products while also increasing their food output. Similarly, hydroponics is advantageous in densely populated locations where space is limited. There are endless advantages of the soilless approach, such as faster growth of plants, which leads to more yield, and more food supply. Controlled Environment Agriculture optimizes all the plant growth factors, such as temperature, humidity, airflow, light, etc according to the crop need, as the result, it provides us with high-quality plants and a high standard of food, which also maintains the food security and food safety parameters.
After all, from the ages people are producing and served food, using the good old-fashioned traditional method. While hydroponics systems & all related technologies can never replace conventional farming, it is breaking the paradigm of food production. Hydroponics offers some significant benefits, which would fulfill all the agricultural needs, shaping the modern way of farming.
