Hydrogen Transformation

Dear Hydrogen change-makers,

what did The smarter E exhibition in Munich, Germany, show us last week? That 110,000 visitors are ready for transformation and the change to a more livable, renewable world! How else would you explain the huge interest in PV and energy storage solutions? At any rate, Irma Grandel and I had some amazing conversations at the trade booth and received loads of genuine project inquiries. It definitely pays to be part of our network. As an active customer, that is. We were able to refer our Movers, Partners and other customers on countless occasions. In some cases we could send interested individuals straight over to our customer’s booth at the ees, which was brilliant! There’ll be more info coming soon about the opportunities available to YOU at next year’s ees - electrical energy storage , from May 7 to 9.

Across all three days of the Green Hydrogen Forum https://www.ees-europe.com/exhibition-program?lang=en, the Hydrogen industry warmly welcomed eager visitors to a variety of themed talks, presentations and company pitches. While hosting “my” panels (on financing and Germany’s core H2 network) on Friday it was clear we were precisely where we needed to be in terms of our engagement in Munich. When I asked in the morning who was active in the H2 sector, only about 10% of the audience raised their hands. What does that mean? 90% potential! There’ll be a more in-depth analysis from the event organizer, but I just wanted to quickly share this bit of insight with you now.

?Hydrogen transformation, part three:

It’s all in the name – quite literally! H2-Wandel (which means H2 transformation) is a project in the Hydrogen model region of Mittlere Alb-Donau-Ostwürttemberg in Germany. It receives a total of EUR 33 million in funding from the German state of Baden-Württemberg and the EU through the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE) and represents an overall investment of more than EUR 52 million. The project enables small- and medium-sized enterprises and local authorities to enter the Hydrogen industry, create highly skilled jobs and help improve rural areas. By 2027, the demonstration projects will be producing, storing and transporting Hydrogen and be exploring refueling and other application options. These elements will be integrated into a local Hydrogen economy, taking advantage of synergies and increasing levels of acceptance.
