Hydro Energy Groups Shows Support for the Glenson Prince Foundation
Hydro Energy Group have gotten involved with the Glenson Prince Foundation and are supplying the communities they work with sport kits and stationery.
?The Glenson Prince Foundation is a non-profit organisation that works within Dominica to educate and bring out the best in the children of the communities. Their aim is to provide every child with the chance to grow holistically in a safe and enjoyable environment.
?Hydro Energy Group decided to get involved in this foundation after reading a rally cry on social media for additional support. Hydro Energy wanted to do what they could in showing their support. The company is putting together a bundle of football shirts, books and stationery, that will be sent out to the Dominican in hopes of helping in providing the supplies that the foundation is seeking.
?Hydro Energy Group CEO, Benjamin Burns, spoke about the decision to participate: “Hydro heard the need for support and have answered. Education is the biggest leveller in life and can act as a platform for personal growth. We just felt that as a business we could offer a level of support to help with the development of these amazing children.
“We are looking forward to working with the foundation, who are doing such amazing things.”
?The foundation was created by husband-and-wife, Glenson and Yasmina Prince. Glenson Prince spoke about the creation of this foundation as; “a means of giving back to our communities; the same communities which nurtured and made us into who we are today.”
The Glenson Prince Foundation will be running football training camps, specifically on goalkeeping. They will also be supplying stationery for the schools and students to use, alongside reading materials for all age groups.
“Our ultimate goal is to establish a centre where children can be taught different skills like carpentry, tiling and electricity. The organisation currently runs the summer camp annually, but with regular donations they hope to do it more frequently.”
The organisation is continually seeking donations, no matter the size, in continuing to impact the lives of the children that the charity reaches out to.
