Hydraulic Work Over Units

A hydraulic workover unit (also known as a "snubbing unit" or "hydraulic snubbing unit") is a specialized piece of oilfield equipment that is used to perform maintenance and repair work on an oil or gas well. The unit consists of a hydraulic system that is used to raise and lower heavy equipment and tools into the wellbore, as well as a winch and hoist system for pulling and pushing the tools and equipment.

?Hydraulic workover units are often used in situations where it is not possible to use a traditional drilling rig, such as when the well is not capable of supporting the weight of a rig or when the well is located in an environmentally sensitive area. The hydraulic system allows the unit to operate with minimal noise and vibration, making it suitable for use in these types of situations.

?Some common tasks that can be performed using a hydraulic workover unit include removing and replacing wellhead components, running or pulling casing and tubing, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on the well. The unit can also be used to perform well interventions, such as perforating the casing or injecting fluids into the well.
