Helicopter support's required for many remote mineral exploration drill sites. How do you lower this cost? How about using a compact, and fly portable, Hydracore 2000 drill? With this design, you don't need a heavy lift helicopter. It's possible to move the HC 2000 drill with each load weighing less than 700 lbs.

Feed frame, rod clamp, 650 lbs. Rotation head, 550 lbs. Water pump, 200 lbs. Wire line winch, rod hoist, legs, and skid, 550 lbs. Hydraulic module, 690 lbs. Two 75 hp power units, 657 lbs. each. #mineral exploration #diamond drilling #mining #geotechnical #drilling #core drilling
