For the third time in a row, a Deloitte Fast 50 Tech company

The Signpost Group, which Academic Software is part of, has been nominated for the third year in a row for Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 competition for technology companies headquartered in Belgium. This year the Group came 28th – up from 34th in 2021, and 38th in 2020.

Cybersecurity in universities: Digital Education Decoded Podcast

In the most recent episode of Digital Education Decoded, a roundtable of university ICT leaders discussed current concerns around cybersecurity. Universities are having to adjust their traditionally trusting and open approach to information in the face of a cybersecurity war. They also face challenges that are unique to the sector, such as thousands of unmanaged devices, and an ethos of openness that makes it difficult to place restrictions on the ability of university members to research freely.

?16,500 kms = 16,500 trees!

In the month of November, the Academic Software team joined with colleagues in the Signpost Group with the goal of moving 16,500 kms to sponsor the planting of 16,500 trees in Africa’s Great Green Wall. For the 30 days of November, 139 of our colleagues cycled, ran and walked around Europe, taking in sunrises, sunsets – and a lot of wind and rain – to move a total of 16,500 kms!
