Hybrid clouds are now the reality in many companies across North America – this way of implementing cloud computing has gained a major foothold.
The RightScale fourth annual State of the Cloud Survey of the latest Cloud Computing trends completed in 2015, stated that Hybrid Cloud remains the preferred strategy with 82% of enterprises surveyed confirming they have a Hybrid Cloud strategy.
But what is Hybrid Cloud? – it’s the combination of a public cloud provider, for example AWS or Azure and a private cloud platform or Colocation facility, which is typically architected for use by a single organization. The infrastructures operate independently and communicates over an encrypted connection.
The attached webinar outlines the advantages of implementing a Hybrid model and the potential problems you may encounter along the way!
