Hyatt Hotels Manchester announces its partnership with the Sam Buah Foundation

At Hyatt, we are passionate about people and opening doors to new opportunities.?In the UK, our Hyatt Hotels Manchester have just announced a partnership with the Sam Buah Foundation . The inspirational Sam Buah created his foundation?with a mission to mentor, train, nurture, coach and provide professional opportunities to the talented, gifted, and most disadvantaged within the minority ethnic community.?

Hyatt Global VP-Global Sales, Tristan Dowell was moved to help when listening to Sam’s incredible story on the radio and worked with General Manager, Assumpta McDonald to support this incredible foundation.

For Assumpta, it is clear that at Hyatt, “Diversity,?Equity?and?Inclusion are more than words. They are a set of ideals that have motivated Hyatt Globally since our first hotel opened more than 65 years ago. These?values come alive through a wide variety of efforts, commitments and goals.

In addition to volunteering as a Mentor, Assumpta and her team have created a yearlong calendar of activities including hosting mentees to spend “A day in the life of” working across all departments, learning and development sessions from Finance and Human Resources as well as how to easily and affordably create a healthy meal.
