Hutton's Huddle - Thoughts on Leadership
Article 1, Part B
This is Part B of my first article for the Hutton’s Huddle series kick-off. This piece combines my thoughts on Harvard Business Review 's July-August 2024, Build a Corporate Culture that Works, by Erin Meyer with my thoughts on Biodesix, Inc. winning Inc Magazine’s 2024 Best Workplaces award.
For a bit of context, the Inc. Magazine recognition of Company Culture involved a multi-month effort, including a rigorous, anonymous employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace . The employee survey included in-depth questions on culture, leadership, and engagement.
Click on this video link to hear more about why I believe that culture cultivation starts with the Leaders and how it can be influenced both top-down and bottoms-up.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

About Hutton’s Huddle:
Based on inquiries and requests from my past, present, and future colleagues, and business partners, I will be adding my own take on successful Leadership strategies and tactics to the Linked In community. The objective is to spark meaningful discussion and, in tandem, both share and learn from this community. This series will include written articles, videos, and other media to illustrate Leadership concepts, both in theory and reality.
Really enjoyed your message, Scott!
