An idea whose time had come, a paper napkin at a A2B eatery not only bears witness to this but also harbors with it, the business plan of Cab Dost, talk about humble beginnings. This harks back to the ‘Bird in Hand Principle’, wherein expert entrepreneurs seek to build a new venture, they start with their means.

Journey started with CabDost, quite simply put, is a company that discovered/invented ‘new processes for an existing product’, it’s what we know to be a ‘process innovation’.?

“If you come across lemons, make lemonade!” is another principle of effectual reasoning, the ability to work with surprises, contingencies in life, with the likes of a spat with father, letting go/quitting a cushy job at corporate, more so at a big 4 with the likes of KPMG is just another day of being an entrepreneur, you roll with the punches here. You ought to.?

CabDost has had quite a few share of the crazy collaborations we found ourselves amidst, the kind of pre-commitments from key stakeholders, vendors, customers, and the likes that we could garner was a good shot in the arm. Or, this could very well be what’s known as the Crazy Quilt Principle of Effectual Reasoning, where the focus is on building partnerships rather than beating competitors. Mr. Sadanand Gowda, Ex Chief Minister & Ex Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation and many more for helping yet another idea, see the light of the day.?

It was all about gut feeling that problem was much evident, but when we said we are doing " Tax filing for Taxi drivers" no one knew including our own team that one day we will be launching SPARK Money Neo bank for Urban low income households in partnership with Fino Payment Bank. 7 years of relentness efforts to execution. It all started with Rs.250/- and time that we had in hand. Our journey is proof that entrepreneurs should never hesitate to choose projects that won't cost a lot if they fail, or that one doesn't want to make a lot of monies from the same but simply acknowledging the fact that "uncertain new opportunities are difficult to value upfront".?

"Cheap Failure" is a thing and one needs to accept the advantages of the same.?
