Hustle For Freedom...

It was 1am.

I stood standing in front of a bathroom mirror at a hotel.

I was no ordinary guest.

I had a black suit on with a tie around my neck, which made it hard to breathe.

My shift had just ended.

Distraught...exhausted...

I knew this wasn't what I was suppose to do all my life.

I was told time and time again that my co workers and bosses had my best interest in mind.

But actions speak louder than words....

"There HAS to be a way out of this," I told myself.

But the days continued on...one late night and early morning after another.

Until...

There was a change.

A change in my personal habits.

A change from the city I was in for 6 years of my life.

My hotel job suffocated me of any freedom I wanted in life.

But I knew if I stayed persistent long enough, I could escape that dreadful place.

Sure enough I did.
