The Hustle and Bustle of Staffing: What it Takes to Be Successful

“If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.”

- Michele Ruiz

Our previous newsletters have highlighted the incredible experiences you'll have as a staffing business owner. However, sometimes you will need to find your inner strength to make your visions and dreams come true. You are striving toward financial freedom, so in the beginning, things like going out every Friday night with friends might have to be sacrificed to put more time into building your business.

So, with that in mind, it's time to discuss the sacrifices that need to be made in order to achieve success as a staffing business owner and how growth lies just on the other side of your comfort zone.

Prepare To Secure Your Dreams and Unshackle Yourself from Anything That's Holding You Back

Rethink your dreams, that big life dream, and then center your life strategy towards where you want to see yourself.

Dreams require sacrifices; along the way, you may be clouded by your fears or blocked by pressures from your loved ones. Others may support you, and some might discourage you. Every big dreamer has fears, so you are not alone! The emotional turmoil of "WHAT IF" comes into play...

What if I fail? What if no one believes in my dream? What if it's not possible?

The list goes on, but what if your dreams lie on the other side of your comfort zone? Would you not want to try at least to get there??

These "What ifs" should never keep you from going after what you want.

Going outside of your comfort zone can be scary, but it's essential that you explore opportunities, even if that means getting out of your comfort zone. Fear is a natural response that should not stop someone from chasing their dreams.

Stepping into the unknown can be frightening, but it may also lead to achieving your dreams.?

Though others might try to dissuade you from going after your dreams, simply remind yourself that their negativity is not your issue or problem to deal with. Guard your aspirations and cut ties with anyone who does not support them.

Make a Profitable Business Plan

Elsewhere in my book and in these newsletters we've discussed at a high level designing your business, and now you have arrived at your point of departure. You are now ready to begin launching and running a staffing business! It has been a fantastic journey, full of ups and downs, but most importantly, you’ve learned so much along the way that will help guide you in making better decisions for yourself as well as others. So, before starting this new chapter into uncharted territory, let's take one final step together: journal daily about what happens during each stage from the beginning until the end - including all emotions experienced while going through these stages.?

Journaling is an incredible way to document your journey and progress. You'll be able to capture all those feelings that may otherwise get lost in the moment or not recorded, because they happened behind closed doors without anyone else knowing about them!

(BONUS TIP: Some of the things you capture through journaling will turn into powerful content to use in future LinkedIn posts, blogs and newsletters!)

Your journal is one of the most powerful tools to overcome obstacles.

In tough times, flip back through your pages and see how much you’ve grown. You’ll be amazed at how your confidence has increased. You’ll also be reminded of your accomplishments. Writing down what you have gone through also guides the future. You may be surprised at how often situations come up similar to the ones you've faced, and reading through your journal will reassure you can handle whatever comes next.

Do you have a daily routine in place to take care of yourself?

As entrepreneurs, we sometimes put everyone else before ourselves and neglect our own needs, leading us down an unhealthy path.

The self-care routine is an integral part of your mental well-being. It allows you time to take care of and nourish yourself so that when the going gets tough in business or life, you can keep up with what's needed without feeling overwhelmed by everything else on top of all those tasks at hand; this helps someone stay calm no matter how much pressure there may be around them, since they know their limits better than anyone else does.

Self-care varies from person to person, so it's critical that you figure out what works for you specifically. There is no "correct" answer! Some people might opt to journal or meditate each morning, while others might work out instead. Allocate some time in your day where you can focus on yourself guilt-free and make sure this becomes part of your routine.

Coaching Tip: If you think your family will be opposed to the idea of you starting a business, remember that their reaction might come from a place of fear. To help ease their worries and avoid getting frustrated yourself, give them limited information on your new venture; don't lie to them, though.
