It hurts badly, but we will come back

Today marked the grand finale of the five-Test Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia on Aussie soil. A huge congratulations to Australia for their brilliant planning and execution to secure the result they wanted—especially impressive after rebounding from their first Test loss in Perth. Commiserations to the Indian cricket team, but chin up!

As an ardent Indian cricket fan, I'll admit—the series result stings. We had high hopes, though they were tempered a bit after our unexpected home loss to New Zealand. We wear our hearts on our sleeves when it comes to our team's performance, and no doubt the critics will be out in full force. But let's take a deep breath and look at the bigger picture. In the last five series between India and Australia, India has clinched four victories, making this our first series loss in a while. So, let's keep that in mind as we dissect this outcome.

Remember, even the greatest companies don't hit it out of the park with every product launch—they've had their spectacular flops. Top-tier venture capitalists don't strike gold with every investment; they have their fair share of misfires. Highly successful politicians have faced unexpected—and sometimes anticipated—defeats right here at home. But these setbacks don't make them any less relevant. Instead, they use these lessons to come back stronger the next time they launch a product or face an election.

The same applies to this Indian team. We've got incredible talent, immense depth, excellent scouting processes, and an extraordinary ability to bounce back. I'm confident that the administrators, coaching staff, and team leaders will learn from this experience and chart an even better course forward.

So, when we head to Australia next time or when the Aussies come to our shores, I'm sure the results will reflect the valuable lessons learned from this defeat. For now, let's give a hearty cheer to the Australian team—they deserve all the accolades! And let's offer our support and patience to the Indian team.

A big thank you to both teams for an entertaining series—hard-fought and full of passion, even if the scoreline doesn't fully capture the intensity of the contest.

Very well articulated.

Tough result, but setbacks make us stronger. Lets keep supporting our team for a stronger comeback.
