Hurry, the year is ending ...
So far 10 locals from Longreach, Ilfracombe and Aramac have enrolled in – and successfully completed – the TAFE business mentoring program I offer here in town, including graziers, shopkeepers and tourism businesses. It’s been quite successful and has benefitted other local businesses such as Kim Anderson’s Train Inn (our training venue) and the Longreach Leader (through paid advertising), so that’s a nice outcome for the towns, don’t you think? I really wanted this to be a project which helped practically in this difficult time.
Now we’ve just got time for one more before the end of the year and we want to start on December 1st. TAFE Queensland’s Small Business Solutions has now made it easier for remote residents to take part in their workshop program in Longreach and North-West Queensland. It's a program you can trust and government subsidised, making it very affordable and realistic at $395.
The workshop program is designed to improve your skills to run your business better, increase profitability and growth of your business, facilitated by yours truly.
Participants may be eligible to receive accreditation in a Certificate IV in Small Business Management but the main emphasis is the acquiring of skills to help you run your business more effectively, so if you are not eligible to receive a Certificate IV because you already have a similar qualification or higher, you may still participate in the program for $395 and sharpen your business skills.
Everyone who enrols (up to a maximum of 10 per course) gets the full 15 hours of small business training. Those who are eligible for the Certificate IV subsidy also qualify for two extra hours of one-on-one mentoring with me and can graduate with the Cert IV qualification.
