New analysis on the humanitarian impacts

The Pacific Coast of Mexico received the first landfall of Hurricane John on 23 September.?Hurricane John caused strong winds, flash floods, and landslides, affecting 280,000 people in Guerrero and?Oaxaca states,?while the exact number in Michoacan is unknown. Following the hurricane, access to water has been limited, education disrupted, and communities have lost 40,000?hectares of crops. The affected states are no longer in a state of emergency, but the damage persists.
