Category 5 Hurricane Irma made landfall overnight on Barbuda, a Caribbean island over which the eye is passing. Irma, with winds of up to 185 MPH, is the most powerful Atlantic hurricane ever recorded; and it’s expected to “rake or sideswipe” Puerto Rico on Wednesday, and could hit Florida by Saturday. Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands joined Florida in declaring a state of emergency as residents scrambled to finish last-minute preparations. ? Share your thoughts: #HurricaneIrma
