Hurricane Aid to the Caribbean Islands

Dear Mr. President:

I, again, write to your office in good faith on the matters of relief from the U.S. government to the beloved children and families in Caribbean Islands, respectively.

Indeed, the American Red Cross prepares to aid tens of thousands of people in need along the Gulf Coast. These vulnerable areas include St. Vincent, the Grenadines, Grenada, Dominica and Barbados, and especially, Jamaica. Power and telecommunications are down as everything has been destroyed.

Today, according to news reports, the storm is hitting the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. I, too, know that aid is critical for many people across the globe like the Ukraine, Israel, and Haiti. But these smaller islands with the most disadvantaged populations need safer shelters and basic needs right now.

An official letter will be forwarded in good faith to your attention, coupled also to The First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, from the State of Illinois. Preparations by the organizers are underway for the August 19-22, 2024 Democratic Convention held here in Chicago, Illinois.

And, I pray that the Oval Office can render support with the American Red Cross and other humanitarian efforts soon. Responsible leadership like peace leadership is only by an example.

I, too, thank you for your support; and I look forward to a 2024 re-election decision.
