Hurray! It seems that drought is away!
It is not too long ago, I talked about the drought here and what it looks like we will have quite a catastrophic year this year. And see after a few months everything is completely different. It rains almost every other day, nature is green and completely fresh. Everything grows wildly. Today, I even noticed an article in the press that farmers are starting to complain that there is now actually little too much water and that they would need it not to rain for a few days in a row. :-)
I understand that those who bought swimming pools for their home because of the coronavirus in spring are upset now because they suddenly have no use for them. But I must say that I really love this kind of summer. The temperatures are just right for me, sometimes it's sunny, sometimes it's raining. I just love it. It reminds me of the summers I spent at my grandma's house in the mountains in my childhood. For example, today. In the morning we got up with the dog and head out. There was a beautiful fog outside. The air in the forest was beautifully fresh and crispy and smelled like it has not smelled for a long time. Then the fog lifted, the sun peeked out and we had a beautiful view of the city of Zlín below us, which was still shrouded in fog. Then the clouds came and right now it's partly cloudy. Just a wonderful morning when we experienced three different weather conditions. So I must say this way of summer seems a bit awesome to me.
By the way, don't you find it interesting that a few months after we had to land most of our airplanes on the ground, the drought that was here for several years suddenly disappeared? It doesn't seem to be just a coincidence to me?
