The Dr. Mooskatimus Christmas Carol was released in book form in the year 2010. The original book was titled: Doctor Mooskatimus and The Great Christmas Adventure. This work inspired its author to bring it into the movie genre. Today, Jesus This Way Ministries, LLC has begun the production of this wonderful Christmas Adventure Movie. Its intent is to inspire its readers and viewers to partake in a new Christmas Tradition: Christmas Time Family Reading.
Generally, the population misses the historic fact that the Christmas Story is actually an historic event! Yes, It really happened! The numerous wise men, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, not to mention: Herod, were real people.
God, was completely committed, and so loved the world's people, that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be born into the world, in an effort to rescue mankind from his sin or state of wrongdoing. You could say, mankind uses his decision-making power to abuse God's creation, and of course others, in an effort to achieve their own agenda at the expense of others. This offensive behavior is known as the sin condition of mankind, not only to God, but also other people. Once an offense takes place in the time line of history, it can never be removed. Furthermore, where God and humans are concerned, all offenses are historic, and memorable. The abused party needs to solve this open emotional wound. If it is not dealt with, its victim becomes more and more cynical as their lives progress.
God chose to deal with offenses through the use of sacrifice. In other words, God entered into humanity as the Christ Child (Christ means Savior/Messiah). God's angels proclaimed the Christmas Herald of Good Tidings and Joy toward all men. Those heralds meant that God entered into the human condition and experienced all the offenses that mankind experienced without ever sinning in order to correct man's offensive condition. However, the human condition hates godliness, and evil forces set out to kill Christ, beginning from His birth as the story relays. Christ did remain sinless, and in this sinless state He allowed Himself to be captured by the ruling class then tortured, and murdered. After three days Christ rose from the grave (indisputable fact) as an innocent man, making a perfect sacrifice for those wanting their wrong doings cleansed. Now, if the abusive person truly wants to change and correct his relationship with his fellow man and God, all he need do is accept the fact that Jesus Christ died for his abuses, and work at living out the teachings of Jesus Christ. For this, God forgives his wrongdoing, and that soul is now cleansed by God and found to be acceptable to enter into God's kingdom, upon the soul's death. Hence, the reference from the angels who said, Joy and glad tidings for man!
Wise men from the East inquired with Herod that the star depicting King David’s successor had appeared in the sky, and they followed that star in order to worship the new king. Herod requested the wise men please notify him when they find the king because Herod’s goal was to kill the child.
Of course, Herod was at this time the occupant of King David's thrown. Therefore, Herod wanted the Christ Child dead because Jesus was a direct heir and descendant to King David's thrown according to the ancient writings. For that reason Christ's life began in turmoil. Today, the world recognizes Christ as the Son of God and the solution for our sinful condition.
