The proprietor, Adam Marsh, first came to the Territory in 2006. Initially, on a holiday, he then spent time with Energy Resources Australia at the Ranger Mine in Jabiru, Perkins Shipping, and the Ichthys LNG project. With his background in specialised welding processes, heavy plate, and pipe, dissimilar metals, and heavy construction, Adam has laid the foundation for a successful operation. With some tenacity and a minor investment in the beginning, the business has grown substantially. They now employ 15 qualified tradespeople, which brings a considerable level of capacity and ability to the table.

The operation has a fully-equipped workshop with yard and laydown facilities, and is a specialist in mild steel, aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and copper alloy welding processes. Their expertise includes onsite and offsite work, field service vehicles, mining equipment, including chutes, walkways, platforms, safety rails, and guards, piping, conveyor systems, tanks, hard-facing, marine repairs, including shell and hull plate replacement on ships, boats, and barges, wharf repairs and installations, subsea spool fabrication, shed structures, including domestic and commercial sheds, and other related items, such as light and heavy vehicle repairs, fuel, water, and oil transfer systems, and also specialty items.
