Sometimes solutions to big challenges start from the most simple things and unusual places: our minds and hearts connected Human to Human.
I am delighted to learn that after over a year and a half of unseen grassroots work with Humming in Harmony, Southbank Centre has nominated me as change maker and I will be delivering a free workshop at the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday 30th 4-5 pm Westminster Libraries are endorsing Humming in Harmony as they hear from users. I am also setting up a choir of private renters in London , Section 21, as a tool for change from within for the campaign Public Renting to create awareness about the invisible link between poor housing conditions and mental health in the Private Rented Sector by promoting compulsory Quality Living Standards. Humming in Harmony is a new concept of social wellbeing that combines the benefits of mindfulness with creative use of voice in groups using humming as a form of non verbal communication and self expression.
