Humility and Patience in all things

John 13:7

“Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.”

When Jesus knelt down to wash the feet of His disciples, it was an act of humbleness, Jesus being greater than His disciples yet He was here to serve. His disciples did not understand How their Lord, could wash their feet. Jesus reassured them that they would understand soon enough. As with many of Jesus’s teachings, they were in parables, they were suggestive. Many times they could not be understood but soon enough all was revealed.

My Friend, as with many things in your life that leave you with so many unanswered questions. With the pace at which you live today, patience is not something many of us have but in this verse is a very important lesson for all of us to learn. Not all things are revealed immediately to you when they happen, leaving you scared, anxious maybe or excited, depending on what is going on but soon enough the reasons will be revealed to you because look what Jesus says: “thou shalt know hereafter”, patience and faith is learnt. Then through whatever the situation, to bow your head and to know that God is with you, trust is built. The answers are not always in front of you, sometimes you have to look for them and other times you have to wait, the secret is getting to know God, then you will know when to be still, when to look and always to praise, LET GO AND LET GOD! Obedience, Faith, Trust! Jesus is an example of what the Word looks like in action, maybe it is time to allow those words to become alive within ourselves. Blessings and Peace, Greetings.?
