Embrace your humanness. For many, when we fail at something —a job or a relationship, for example—our self-esteem plummets because we tied our self-worth to those things. Not so for people with humility who have an intrinsic self-worth. Their ability is to openly accept that they are imperfect, to accept that that they can be more mindful and compassionate, and to accept how their unhealthy ego and actions are limiting them.
People with humility balance self-confidence with self-criticism. Perhaps the key to humility is seeing life as a journey towards cultivating those qualities that bring out the best in ourselves and others and make this world a better place.

Thank you for writing/sharing this article. When we are able to truly acknowledge that we are imperfect, it opens an awareness within us to recognize that other people are similarly flawed. With this awareness of our own flaws comes humility and a recognition that we need to be tolerant of others. Or at least this is the hope! :-)
Life is good. Retirement is great. But ya know, I realized too late that choosing a technical career limited my opportunities to leverage my charm and beauty. I’ve been thinking about returning to work as a pole dancer.
Haha. Indeed
But false modesty is the worst form of conceit??
