Humbling lessons….
Carey Conley
I am on a mission to save 1 million lives by helping youth, adults, and parents decipher their life vision and purpose.
I have been having some very humbling experiences lately if you have been following along with my move to Oklahoma. I have physically moved, but my things are in some warehouse on another planet apparently waiting for a truck to come get it. There is such a shortage on moving trucks right now that it could be another two weeks, or more.?
?Because I have been through a lot, I can handle a lot. In the beginning it all seemed like it was going to go so smoothly. Slowly (very slowly) it started to unravel and at the moment I am out thousands of dollars and have yet to have an arrival date.?
In the meantime, I sit in a very nice apartment that is half empty and it can be very challenging to start to feel at home in a new place without your familiar surroundings.?
?I will admit it broke me down and I have been less than patient with the movers hitting brick wall after brick wall.
?So, I have done two things to get through this because at the moment it is completely out of my hands:
?*Gratitudes. Gratitudes. Gratitudes! I don’t think I have ever written or said more of them in my life and it works! I have so much to be thankful for, so I stay focused not that.?

?*Pray for the people in my life that are literally struggling to hold on to their health, finances, relationships, etc. There is always someone worse off.?
?I realized yesterday when I checked into a hotel that had a couch that I am grateful for this lesson of humbleness. There is a reason God is bringing me through this in this way and hopeful that I can use this story to encourage you all today and in the future.
?Stay tuned and stay humble!
