Humbled | Forty Under 40

Good to know I am surrounded by leaders who will keep me humble, ha! 

The pics are what I returned to after vacation, scattered around my office. It's not creepy seeing dozens of "you's" staring at ya. Team, you wasted cost using the colored printer cartridge, geesh.

Congratulations to the other nominees and winners. Appreciate being alongside leaders of your stature, it's a privileged honor. 

Certainly didn't just happen, and didn't get here alone. Thank you to the giant shoulders I have stood on, leaders I've stumbled forward with, and those who have sharpened me with their abilities & character. This recognition is a shared one for these reasons. 

For those who have been nominated, sought to be a part of it, missed the deadline or you're "too wise" with age, or feel it's luck & popularity - it's none of those (all the time anyway). For those who know me well, I am an example that it's not those reasons. Keep making your impact & pressing on with your beautiful grit, as you're in a class all your own. This, in a way, is for you too. 

This was a nice surprise. It's a good reminder to keep the course through the posture of serving, engaging in your community, being a good teammate, working hard, care, building into others, and the like.
