Today, 31st Dec 2021, just like a blink of an eye another year passes by and here I am yet again celebrating my 34th birthday!
2021, I must say I performed well in this constant game of levelling up in life in turns of driving an enriched learning curve, attainment of worldly enlightenment and a year truly focused on self-improvement. Majorly, this year made me to re-evaluate and introspect on things I’ve got from my life’s perpetual wish list and arrive at only two sane conclusions: (1) Life’s higher purpose is all about creating values for others (2) It takes getting rich to value time over money.
Approximately, there is around $215 trillions physical money in the world, let aside the money markets, properties/real estate and commodities, well enough for everyone to acquire and dwell off it. That apart, what world needs right now is to you become that ‘agent of change’ and improve it!
Now there are a few aspects I would like to throw light upon when we speak about levelling up our game in life.

First and foremost, when the opportunity shows up, always take a calculated risk and bet high. Interestingly, humans depict an extraordinary risk-taking behavior in times of a adversity and when faced with a distress situations. As an e.g., the chances of a $500 net worth person buying a $50 lottery is more than the $10K net worth person buying the same price lottery ticket. Hence its quintessential that one keeps spotting these ‘Zero to One’ opportunities which are partially hidden all around us and take chances, and bet on himself! Just ensure you’ve the right opportunity, timing and a leveraged betting position.
Skills, are one integral part of one’s growth and success. And the rewards you churn out are directly proportional to your command on those skills. Compensation at office, new job opportunities, your attainment of larger goals etc. everything is dependent on the buyer of your skills cos the value of a skill is never determined by the market but the buyer! It is important for every person to master one skill each from technical aspect (e.g., coding, domain/ business knowledge) as well as emotional/behavioral aspect that are well within high monetary threshold. Now the downside about skills is their ever-evolving nature and a constant need to sharpen them, but let us treat this as the survival of the fittest, a choice to acquire the skillset of the hunter or a prey. Always remember that the market doesn’t wait for you to get ready.
Trust and loyalty being the new age currencies in the world, it becomes imperative that you network with right people and establish that circle of most reliable folks around you. In this pursuit of networking, since you’ve got limited time and energy, keep yourself away of from people who litter your emotional and mental hygiene. But at the same time utilize push (e.g., LinkedIn) and pull (e.g., you being Osho and people following you) strategies to connect with people around you. You can’t amass hoards of people unless you add considerable value to their life in any material form. Also, as you move ahead, share your trade secrets and take away this loyal circle of people with you to the top of that pyramid so that you don’t feel lonely up there.
As we are aware, life is a constant journey and we always want to be somewhere else. Hence it becomes urgent to take actions on the above lessons today itself, cos what we’re witnessing today is an ultimate result of actions we’ve taken few years back. Time will anyway pass by, why not make it pass in our favor?
