Exciting news from Pressto - We got our first paid contract signed & delivered! When we go ice fishing every winter, the difference between zero fish and one fish is enormous, so we’re feeling really great about this milestone.

We launched in April, ran a successful pilot in NYC Dept of Ed that organically spread south to Brazil and north to Canada with thousands of parents on our waitlist. Now, we have tons of excitement rolling in for the new school year. Our mission is to?develop the next generation of critical thinkers and writers. How??And WHY do parents and teachers like Pressto? We asked our pilot schools and our customers.

1. So simple and intuitive that?writing = play. We’re THE BEST online platform that has students?enjoying writing.? Schools are using Pressto as a substitute for Google Docs, and kids LOVE IT.

2. We teach students to?(1) take a breath (2) make a plan (3) consider saving as a draft?BEFORE they publish. Very important skills that grownups, too, should learn before publishing content online.

3. We use?project-based learning?to teach the difference between fact & opinion and other media literacy skills to teach kids to recognize fake news (and much more).

4. Students, schools, and organizations (like PTOs) can use Pressto to?raise money, which creates an amazing viral loop, bringing more customers to Pressto and encouraging our users to share their content.
