There is so much suffering and pain in the world. Sometimes we don’t need magical powers to save us but the inner strength and vision to serve. Most of us believe in the denial and blame game. But there are exceptional human beings who take the flame in their hands. Dr. Yogi Aeron was the doctor who changed the destiny of the Himalayan people. The 84 years old man is the healing temple for all the burnt and underprivileged patients.
Yogi Aeron was born in 1937, in Uttar Pradesh and completed his graduation from King George Medical College, Lucknow. He brought back medicine and treatment to his roots as he completed his specialization in plastic surgery in the US.?The surgeon started working in the district hospital, Dehradun and observed the pain and cries of underprivileged patients.
The tale of his struggle began in 1983 when he bought 4 acres of land near Massi to treat his patients. Till now, he and his team are performing 500 surgeries daily to heal the burns, cleft lip, palate, etc. He is working endlessly free of cost for underprivileged patients.

On 26 January 2020, he was awarded Padma Shri for the healing and magic created by him. But this legendary man said “That's fine but I have thousands of patients in my waiting list. I hope some help will arrive for them too." His dreams, ambitions, and visions are all about his patients and society. No award or money can buy him or stop him from believing in the power of healing.
From “Helping Hand” in Dehradun to “Science Park” In Malsi, he is creating steppingstones for the youth and healthcare professionals. Yogi Aeron and his team also organize camps to educate and create a learning platform for children and youth. He has a waiting list of 10,000 patients.
