Technology, a tool at the service of people: this is how I see the role of the digital age. We currently have a series of tools that, if used consciously, are very beneficial. IoB, or Internet of Behaviors, is one of them.
Much is said about IoT, the Internet of Things, but IoB is a more advanced version of IoT, connecting a person's body or actions to the Internet. IoB is a system that monitors, analyzes and predicts human behavior. This occurs by combining artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), big data analysis, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, among others. The collected data can then be used for various purposes, such as predictive analytics or automated decision-making processes.
In the Healthcare sector, for example, through IoB it is possible to analyze patient information and electronic health records (EHRs) to generate insights into the health status of these people. Therefore, we are able to identify health risks, tracking vital signs and medication adherence. And by carrying out a more in-depth analysis, any healthcare institution or even government will be able to visualize disease patterns and risk factors to mitigate outbreaks. Furthermore,

In Business, the implementation of IoB also has a great importance. As this tool provides user information and preferences, the company can learn more about its audience and target audience. These collected behavior patterns must be used to meet the needs of your customers. The goal here is to increase consumer satisfaction.
Its imperative to highlight that all information collected from any person must have appropriate data protection. Another sensitive point is security, since building data on a person's behavior leads to virtual and physical exposure.
Organizations must implement more proactive cybersecurity policies to address the security of tracked information. Currently, individualized data has become one of the most valuable assets used by companies to make decisions and strategies.
