We aren’t anti-social either; we’re Asocial. Here’s Why.
Happiness and everything else that we experience including Love is a Cognitive occurrence. We may direct it outwards towards somebody but the source of Happiness lies within our inner wiring. Therefore, we must spend the time becoming Happy – or rather, being Sorted – before we engage with others. Else relationships remain toxic – and primarily vehicles for us to vomit out our inner frustrations.
Relationships are an expression of our inner being – so if there’s dirt inside, it will show in the way we behave with others.
The History of the world is the story of how people have treated and behaved with one another. Far too much time and energy get spent on the external interactions between people – and often on having dominion over others. People value Family, Children and Friends (and we’ve been conditioned this way) – over Peace of Mind, Silence and Creativity. The inner life, however, if given utmost importance, will manifest as the most pleasant Friendships with one and all. Rather than using external relationships to sort out your inner being – connecting to your inner self will help create a truly satisfactory external experience.
When I’m genuinely sorted, I love being by myself.
For years I believed that Humans were social animals and needed meaningful relationships. What Humans need is a deep sense of meaning in their life – and a deeper sense of connection with their self. The external relationship is always secondary to this.
Making Peace within yourself is a pre-requisite for developing long-lasting Friendships. So, should you engage in a relationship if you aren’t at Peace? Yes, but with the knowledge that you are a work in progress! Your inner scenario creates external situations. And so, the only way to have a meaningful life with deep Friendships is to sort your insecurities, complexes and inner demons. Else they will taint your worldly experience. And your Relationships will be more trouble-giving then joy-creating!

5 年Wow very well said. First having a relationship with your soul is very important and every body has it's own timing for the initiation and continuity of this most sacred relationship ????
