Humanity, No Matter...?
History repeating itself…?? Does it really matter to humanity?? Is mass killing still the way a lot of governments do business?? The past few decades have seen terrifying examples such as in Rwanda, Cambodia, Darfur, Bosnia, Japan, China, the Soviet Union…, and elsewhere. Murder on a national scale.? But history has not taught humanity. Killing and hatred continue…? Now, Ukraine uncovers mass graves and dead children, old, women strewn all over as Russia indiscriminately bombs and kills without any regard.? Is humanity marching toward the end?? What does the end look like? ??
1.????Ukraine Genocide?????????The United Nations General Assembly on Thursday voted to pass a resolution to suspend Russia from the U.N. Human Rights Council, in response to Russian forces' alleged killings of civilians in Ukraine.?The vote passed with 93 countries voting in favor, 24 voting against, and 58 abstaining from voting. Belarus, China, Iran, Russia, and Syria were among the countries that voted against the resolution.?Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of committing genocide hundreds of civilians were found dead in the town of Bucha following the Russian military's withdrawal.?And, there is numerous mass grave, death, and mayhem still uncovered in Ukraine…?
2.????China on Organ Harvesting…????? A new study says it has found evidence in official Chinese records that surgeons have executed prisoners by removing their hearts to harvest organs... ?Death row inmates have no basic human rights…???And UK-based tribunal has found (unofficial) China has committed genocide against the Uyghur people in Xinjiang.?The Uyghur Tribunal cited birth control and sterilization measures allegedly carried out by the state against the Uyghurs to bring about "long-term reduction of Uyghur and other ethnic minority populations…" Also, recent history shows us that killing is not limited to the racial minority. While most scholars are reluctant to estimate the total number of "unnatural deaths" in China under Mao (1949-1976), evidence shows he was in some way responsible for at least 40 million deaths and perhaps 80 million or more. This includes deaths he was directly responsible for and deaths resulting from disastrous policies he refused to change.? The killing has no boundaries…?
3.????Colombian Massacre.?????Oscar Daza, a human rights coordinator with OPIAC, described the military operation against gangs as “a massacre executed by the Colombian military”. The community is “enraged and shocked by this illegitimate and illegal operation”, he told Al Jazeera.? According to the events in Puerto Leguizamo form part of a larger pattern in Colombia, where military forces often fail to distinguish between civilian populations and local armed groups… ?“They say anyone they kill is a terrorist, that we are all guerrillas and criminals. Statements like these are extremely dangerous.”? Government killing the way of national business as usual? Well, killing supports the killers’ narratives as Putin and Russians are saying they are eradicating Nazi Jews in Ukraine now… Hmmmm.
4.????“Pachinko,” on History of Racial Hatred…??????Why so much hate and so many inhumane killings?? War may be an instrument for mass killing to support the dictator's narrative to dominate such as what is happening in Ukraine now. But not too long ago in the likes of the Japanese Nanjing massacre, the Bataan Death March, the 36-Year Oppressive Occupation of Korea...? And, author Lee Min Jin tells a story of hate, survival, love, and human struggle (fiction based on actual research) in “Pachinko” as most Japanese are oblivious to the history of hate and killing. ??This story may be revealing the dark side of the inhumane nature of hate, racism, war, and killing.??

2 年Tragedy in Brooklyn, NYC, NY today. When it is happening repeatedly, and suddenly at higher rates from prior years, our massive increase in violence is not coincidental, it is caused. There are many long term factors that have been researched such as violence in our entertainment, tolerated direct violence in the legacy media, individuals desire to express frustrations with violence on our social media, and more... yet all of these factors are reflected in gradual increases in violent crime statistics. What we are seeing now, is a very sudden, dramatic increase in violent crime over a very short time period. There are more serious and direct causes of this violence.
