Humanity of Choice

“We all share an identical need for love, it is possible to feel that anybody we meet, in whatever circumstances, is a brother or sister. No matter how new the face or how different the dress and behavior, there is no significant division between us and other people. It is foolish to dwell on external differences, because our basic natures are the same. Ultimately, humanity is one and this small planet is our only home, If we are to protect this home of ours, each of us needs to experience a vivid sense of universal altruism. It is only this feeling that can remove the self-centered motives that cause people to deceive and misuse one another.”

Above golden thoughts of his holy highness, The Dalai lama has disposed an extremely tenacious message and revealed many facets of humanity when applied to the current times enveloping antagonism & dissection. This animosity so created has crossed the threshold of acrimony and entire nation is on boil & turmoil. Infact entire world is full of exasperation culminating in rampage & bloodshed and leading the human race to nowhere except massacre and extinction.

We are living in a world which is illimitable and people can travel all over & experience contrasting feelings but we are aggravating to impose borders on ourselves. We are battling to be perceived and designated as part of a meager group. We are clashing to impose restrictions to a world which yesterday generation have altercated not to have any and we have applauded them. We all are full of greed, commotion, distress and distrust these days. Besides becoming more civilized and learning about the intricacies of human race and development, we are embroiled by the new wave of modernization and outcomes of transformation due to technology innovations and cultural incursions.

As a result, we are obsessed with our TV, News, Smart phones, Social media & Computers, etc. We are spending extremely less time with our family and our direct interactions with our children, neighbors, and friends are seized away by this gargantuan modern hi-tech living style. We do comprehend the importance of humanity, love and kindness to other living beings but generally don’t divulge them directly upon anyone. We keep humanity in high regard in principle but have no time to give it a meaning in our own life. We do not expend even a little time, a few seconds in the service of humanity.

With the life getting tougher day by day, it is natural for any human to disregard the needy impoverished, it is natural for us to go with the business as usual & not giving enough to the deprived, it is natural for us to forget the fact that it is our obligation to help the destitute. As we focus more and more on ourselves, the social tensions and imbalances are inciting and our peace is getting disturbed. As we all know that religious harmony takes an essential place in the peace & harmony of any nation. Our living conditions have worsened to an unbelievable amounts due to exploitation of caste, creed, cultural and religious sentiments of our countrymen. Differences among ourselves are hurting & this divisiveness has costed us social inequality and economic disparity.

It was only during the rigorous freedom struggle our forefathers have realized the need for oneness. Not only the nation’s liberty and integrity commanded the oneness, but whole of humanity lies in the oneness of all and the oneness of every caste, creed, religion and culture. Humanity is an essential part of life which expresses to help & apprehend others, realize their botheration and aid them. For displaying humanity, you don't need to be an upper crust, even an underprivileged can propagate humanity by helping others. When you display humanity you feel a punch from your inner soul which you can’t get from something else. Every religion tells us about humanity, peace and love that is why no religion is gigantic than humanity. We all want to help others, live by each other's euphoria and don't want to cause hate and despise to others. In this world there is a room for everyone.

All humans are one and only one, regardless of caste, creed, religion and race. This oneness would bring the world full of peace and harmony. The future of humanity lies in this oneness. As we slender down the differences amongst us, broader the outlook on humanity arises, out of which the whole human race can live unto peace. Thus, the service to humanity results in the oneness. It brings hope and life to the downtrodden and the disheartened. When peace and harmony becomes the main cause of every kind of service rendered to the nation and its people, it becomes the service to God. When an orphan gets a cuddling hand to light their life, it becomes a Godly gesture. When a deprived lives blissfully along with the rest of the humanity, it is the kingdom of God. We must realize that every religion teaches us humanity and one who serve humanity is the happiest man on the globe. Real happiness is your inner satisfaction which you can only get by serving humanity and remember that money can't buy inner happiness.

As part of our daily routine, we all read newspapers & watch TV and these media typhoons are acting as political tools for mobilization of masses, setting narratives, influencing mindsets, mesmerizing religious dogmas etc. Power hungry elements of this country have used them to spread their propaganda of hate, divide & polarize people, and citizens of this country are precisely brainwashed.

I am quite sure that you must be reading this article while sitting on your cozy chair in heated office space or getting comfy under the warmth of your blanket as nature also is playing its part and we have been staggeringly clobbered by the astringent cold wave in many parts of India.

Just take a pause and give it a thought, where are we heading for?

Where this coercion & ferocity leading us to?

Why we have reached to this precarious situation?

By keeping humanity in your day to day actions, we can produce something truly compassionate, which will transform the lives of the ordinary human being in any part of the world. Humanity is all about coming together to collectively find solutions to problems that plague our world. It is important not to forget that behind every step we take and behind every drive, there is a human being at the end who will and should stand to get benefited.

Let us fight misery & dependency through humanity. Let us empower our brethren to give them strength and hope to stand on their own feet and earn a life of dignity with their own hands. Let us fight to improve the situation of civic amenities such as health care, education & employment. Let us think beyond caste, creed, religion and race and lead the perception of oneness among ourselves as future of humanity lies only in oneness. We need to stop burying the human values as this is not a healthy manifestation. This antagonism, dissection & animosity should be unmarked promptly as only then, we Indians can expect a healthy, enthusiastic, effervescent and quality life.
