The Human strikes back :-)
As daily drumbeats of the march of AI and robots across all areas of human economic engagement rise, perhaps we need to look inwards at our survival/fight-or-flight instinct to understand how we may use similar technologies to evolve into a different species from Homo Sapiens. The following video, and the white paper associated with it, shows one of the possibilities of 'Augmented Human' technologies in daily life

Interestingly, while metahumans have been a key part of the West's culture and technological aspirations, this research, along with related ones on 'augmented human', comes from a culture that seeks the most cultural assimilation with artificial automation. The cynic in me feels that, like all technologies, 'Augmented Human' will be available to those who can afford it. What does it portend for humans ? Your views will be welcome.
