B to B or B to C Yet It is H to H
B to B and B to C etc are so called Management process or working tools , commonly used buzz words during high level corporate meetings or during Top Management Group Deliberations , but it must be noted that success of all such commercial maneuvering are the result of human interface or human interactions ie Human to Human Bonding.
lets rephrase it H to H on the similar lines as we put up B to B and B to C.
Best example of visualizing the impact of human to human bond is the relation of newly born child with his/her mother as this bond is so strong that it remains till the end of the life. it was thought to be philosophical but in the current scenario even father are encouraged to develop the body touch with newly born baby which help in strengthening the bond of child with both mother and father ie parents.
This Human to Human relation is a proven fact and such bonding helps at any stage and in any situations including our bonding with customers and developing their affection or trust for the co and loyalty or preference ,for the brand .It is my strong conviction that for exponential growth of any product/ service . it has to become a preferred choice for which there has to be a unique differential or USP it offers to prospective customers to create demand .. One wonders what can be the USP, if it price or product features, or packaging or quality or technology or multiple value addition etc etc , my experience suggest none of these can become USP as these are not Unique because all can be matched or copied immediately.
To create USP is the big challenge for any marketer. In my opinion the real USP is the level of human interactions. interface or customer closeness and is well tested ad tried,The level of success achieved in B to B or B to C is directly proportionate to level of bonding of H to H. This becomes unique as it cant be copied or matched or even bought like we can buy the technology.in today's world.
Therefore strategically first develop or strengthen humans bonding and then decide way forward to adopt B to C or B to B.approach in the given Business model.
While I look back with satisfaction and analyze my successful professional journey as country Head leading a big team and managing large and complex network, and now wearing a Mentor Hat advising the operations , I also feel that stronger the human interactions I developed both in internal and external competitive environments, higher the level of success I achieved in any given situation.
The most important elements of strengthening the H to H bond are Trust and Faith. I am happy to share the following tested and tried Tips which can help in strengthening the human to human {H to H } bond and there after developing in leadership mode for long term success..
The Necessary Steps for better H to H relationship and bonding are as follows :
1. Be A Great Listener - Every Human has the basic desire to be heard and understood. patient listening helps in mutual respect and learning.
2. Raise the Right Concerns- It helps in sharing mutual interest for better aligning the priority and strategy. Best way to let the people know that you have heard is to repeat back by saying " What I heard you say..... "
3. Give Complete Attention- When some one is speaking, focus not only on tone of words but also their body language ad expressions. This helps in building and reinforcing personal and cultural values for deeper connections.
4. Keep Others importance- Remember the others name is first step to good relationship. when ever you speak about other hobby, their family member and achievement their faces lighten up. it helps in celebrating personal and group achievements.
5. Be Open and Share - Share a situation with own experience which can relate to other but never over shadow but empathize. This helps in protecting mutual interest.
6. Be Genuine and Humble- Every one wants such people around who are genuine, humble yet confident ,positive and trustworthy . This helps in creating aura of mutual understanding and mutual respect.
Above if followed religiously and honestly helps in developing Trust and Faith in the Human to human bonding for long term sustainable growth.
Keeping the above in view we can conclude that Customers are Human first and therefore lets develop Human to human bond of mutual respect which will create loyal customer base having complete faith and trust in your company and in your brand. Remember H to H is the real USP
