"People imagine cyborgs usually as mean creatures combining some human and superhuman features in a robotic body. Movie characters such as the Terminator, Darth Vader or the Borgs in Star Trek come to mind. But you do not have to go as far as Star Wars to get in contact with cyborg-like features or characteristics. According to the usual definition, a cyborg combines organic and mechanic body parts. Yet, some scientists stretch this understanding. They include people with cochlear implants, cardiac pacemakers or even contact lenses. In a way, it is valid: the human body is augmented with technology, and the two works together to improve human capabilities" (https://medicalfuturist.com/the-worlds-most-famous-real-life-cyborgs/).
I started a new adventure a few days ago, and it will lead me (in the next 3 years), to a place where I hope to find some answers to questions that go through my mind and that make me very curious about the future of work.
In the PhD Program that I have just started, I will try to understand how the introduction of AI, and robots in work processes will change the way human resources professionals are going to perform their tasks in the future.
I believe that sooner or later we will live with this reality in a healthier and more relaxed way. Today, what I see is still tremendous resistance to change, and also a certain disguised sabotage. If something goes wrong, there is always a robot to blame, or a system that did not work properly.
One day, we will realize that instead of resisting, it is better to take advantage of the best that technology can do for us, so that we can increase our capacities, our performance and above all free ourselves for tasks that make us return to the basics of be a human being. Is it poetic? Maybe, but I really believe that.
I also believe that this time is getting closer and closer, and that the technological acceleration that we experienced with the COVID Pandemic will help this click to happen.

So I want to study this topic and try to get some answers that will help us to 'enjoy' the combination of the best of both worlds, human and technological being.
I am aware that this is a huge challenge, but I start the journey with a good dose of humility, ingenuity, hope, and above all, a huge expectation that the topic will be interesting enough that you will want to participate in this adventure with me.
My network of contacts and followers on Linkedin exceeds 30,000, and I would like you all to share this journey with me to create knowledge that can be useful to everyone in the future.
In this initial phase, the most important thing is to gather the most relevant information, review the scientific literature produced on the subject, and find the authors and facilitators of these practices. Please Help me to find out who knows more about the subject, and share with me studies and research that have already been produced on the subject.
Thanks
