I have had cats since childhood. It has been a touching experience with my pet cats. These cats' behaviors are not understood, but the cat can be a good friend. When I was a kid, I lived in a kampung, and the house was vulnerable to poisonous caterpillars, which once in a while crept into the homes. Not just caterpillars, but snakes also crawled into the house. The pet cats will always be defensive; the cat fought these caterpillars and snakes even though they have been bitten off by the poisonous animals. The cat kept fighting until we came to the rescue. Sad to see the cat has been bitten off and took a few days to recuperate. Now, I still have a pet cat, and this cat always accompanies me at night doing my work, greeting me when I come home from work. He never demanded food from me; he would ask for food from my son or my wife. It means this bond is purely friendship to accompany me and also demands a companion. He is very sensitive to my actions if I ignore him or, even worse if I scold him. He would stay away from me until I slowly and nicely talked to him and later came back to sleep on my arm while I was doing my typing on the PC.
These relationships develop empathy and compassion for others because if the cat has feelings, humans will have even deeper feelings. Therefore, we need to be kind to other human beings. Eid Mubarak ???? ???????? to all Muslims.
