Human Beings: We Are All Brothers and Sisters

For the most part, people are simply individuals, trying as they might, to live and provide for their families from one day until the next. It's important to remember that they are not their governments. Just like you or I, individual 'citizens' the world over do not necessarily condone, nor do they have a direct voice in their particular representative government's day to day legislative activities.
It's time to end the prejudices. A person's nationality, religion, ethnicity, skin colour, sexual orientation, and more specifically, their particular government's legislative policies ought not to dictate just what it is that constitutes either a good or a bad group / class of Human Being. We need to come to terms with and accept the fact that we are all children of the same Earth, we are all related.
In order to promote a sincere and lasting peace on this ever-shrinking planet, we must stop thinking of 'people' as being one specific nationality or another or of one specific race or another. No matter the country an individual happened to be born into, we must cease painting the individual citizens with the same broad brush strokes that we frequently (consciously or unconsciously) use to paint so many of the various political ideologies around the world.

With this posting, I shall be taking a few days leave for some much needed personal realignment and meditative recharging. Stay blessed in peace and love everyone. R.
