Human Behavior Has Changed. Have You Adapted?

There is no better time than right now to adapt to the way your market wants to do business.
By “now”, I’m not referring to the current health situation of the world.
By “now”, I’m referring to the fact that it’s 2020.
Even before the current world situation developed, human behavior had changed.
In fact, it has been changing over a period of several years - maybe even a decade.
Whether it’s buying a roof, buying a car, or buying an iPhone - we don’t want to be sold to!
We want to do our own research and take more control over our decision-making process.
We would rather seek out knowledge on how to make informed and educated decisions, rather than be convinced by a sales associate who may or may not have our best interests in mind.
According to Google, on average, over 70% of the buying decision is made online before someone contacts a business for the first time.
?How Do You Get In Front of People During This Decision Making Process?
Want to have a steady stream of inbound inquiries from prospects who are ready, willing, and able to buy from you?
You’ve got to be in front of them while they’re doing all of this research.
OK, well that makes sense. But what exactly am I supposed to do?
Well, there are different ways to approach this.
One of the most effective strategies that I know of, and that our clients deploy, is to create and distribute content that helps people in your market make educated, informed decisions.
Here are the steps I would take:
? Make a list of FAQs that you get from your prospects and clients.
? Shoot a 2-4 minute video of someone in your company answering each question (one Q&A per video).
? Create a YouTube channel, and publish the videos on your channel.
? Embed those YouTube videos on a video library page on your website.
? Share the videos on your social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. Drip them out over time; don’t share them all in one day.
Does This Idea Excite You ??
I want you to implement this! Yes, it takes a little bit of work. But the work you put in now will pay off for years.
Yes, years.
And, let’s be honest, now is the perfect time to sit down and record a bunch of video content.
Heck, this is exactly what my team and I are doing right now.
There are some more advanced things you can do after this, such as run social media ads to get even more eyeballs on your content.
But I’ll save that for another post.
So... who is going to implement this?
If you are, let me know what questions you have about it.

It’s counter intuitive, but it wins every time. These are the 2 main groups of people I’ve noticed lately, people who get excited and scramble for instant gratification, and those who remain calm, and try to see every last detail in their surroundings.
