HubSpot monthly updates for EMEA partners - January 2024

The first monthly Hubspot EMEA product update for 2024 is now available, and it showcases a number of great features. Let’s take a look at what’s new and see how it can be used for HubSpot’s EMEA partners.

Instagram Mobile News

Instagram Reels: HubSpot Mobile App now supports publishing on Instagram Reels.

First Comment: Schedule your first Instagram comment with First Comment Support.

Location Tag: In the social composer, you will be able to select one location every time you create an Instagram post. Your post engagement and reach will increase if you include a location tag.

Use Case

As a result of these new features, marketing teams can reach new audiences, improve engagement, and increase profile traffic and awareness.

Customer Journey Analytics can now track phone calls

Customer Journey Analytics now includes Calls as a touchpoint.

Use Case

Engaging prospects and customers through inbound and outbound calls is important. For optimizing the broader customer journey, it's essential to understand what led to those calls and what behavior followed, which is why the Customer Journey Analytics app now includes calls as a touchpoint.

Customizable Gallery Mode for CTAs

Similar to how you can change the columns available in a table/list view, this update allows you to change the properties shown on a CTA gallery card.

Use Case

As part of the new Gallery mode for managing CTAs, we are giving customers control over what properties appear on gallery cards. This is not a one-size-fits-all solution as customers need access to different information based on the status of their CTAs, and in the future, they may be able to define their own properties.

AI Assistant Call Summaries

The transcribed calls of customers can now be summarized in a concise manner.

Use Case

In addition to providing context on logged calls, transcripts make it easy for users to gather information. In a hurry, reviewing long transcripts can be time-consuming. By reducing the time spent manually reviewing and summarizing calls, this feature improves rep efficiency.

Adding Engagement & Target Account Info to the Leads Table

In the Leads table, Sales Hub Pro+ customers can now see the most recent lead engagements and target accounts.

Use Case

When customers use the Leads table to manage their leads, they want to prioritize which to engage first. For this purpose, we are bringing in engagement data, as well as labeling and filtering of target accounts.

Leads has been updated to make it viable for ABM-focused companies.

Enroll contacts in a sequence on behalf of their contact owner using workflows and embedded automation

Customers can dynamically select the sequence sender when enrolling in a sequence via a workflow.

  • Customers with Sales or Service Hub Professional and above will see this update in the Automation tab of the sequences tool.
  • Customers with Sales or Service Hub Enterprise will see this update in the Workflows tool.

Use Case

Using a workflow to enroll contacts in sequence, you can now send from a contact owner property or a specific user.

Customized Reminder Emails in Meeting Scheduling Pages

In the past, all meeting reminder emails followed the same basic template. Now, HubSpot users can customize and personalize reminders for meetings booked through scheduling pages.

Use Case

In advance of an upcoming meeting booked through a scheduling page, prospects can receive a customized reminder email that includes important meeting information, links to join the meeting, and anything else that might be relevant to the meeting.

AI Content Assistant in Workflows Email and Notification Actions

Send Email and Send Internal Email Notification actions now support HubSpot's AI Content Assistant. When writing your content in our email or notification workflow actions, you can use either the highlight or the slash command to generate, edit, or rewrite your content!

Use Case

With the AI content assistant, you can create marketing emails and internal notifications more quickly and easily. Content assistants automate the tedious parts of writing, leaving you with more time to express your own thoughts, opinions, and creativity.

Save and Reuse Groups of Workflow Actions with Action Sets

You can now save a group of workflow actions into an Action Set so that you and the rest of your team can re-use.

Action Sets is available for all Enterprise portals with workflows access.

Use Case

In addition to speeding up workflow creation, Action Sets allow workflow admins to create guides that their teams can use while they're creating workflows.

Custom Properties for Workflows

Workflows can now be managed and organized better with custom properties!

Through custom properties, HubSpot Smart CRM allows you to completely customize the data you store about Contacts, Companies, Tickets, Deals, and custom objects.

Use Case

With workflow Custom Properties and Custom Views, teams can create a multidimensional, enforceable organization system. When creating a workflow, administrators can define which custom properties must be filled out.

AI Assistant for Report Descriptions

With HubSpot's AI Assistant, you can interpret and summarize reports instantly. All your reports will be easier to manage and interpret with this AI Assistant.

Use Case

Reports can be difficult to understand. It's much easier to gain insight if you have a description that explains what a report contains, what it's useful for, and what questions it can answer.

Moreover, custom descriptions can help add critical business context to reports, facilitating knowledge sharing and communication.

Webhook Triggers are now in Company, Deal, Ticket and Custom Objects!

Webhooks can now be triggered in contact, deal, ticket, and custom object workflows. You can now use record IDs or set up custom properties requiring unique values when matching the unique identifier from your third-party system to the corresponding HubSpot property!

Use Case

Customers have expressed a wide range of uses for webhook triggers beyond just contacts-based workflows. When setting up your webhook trigger, you must have the flexibility to leverage record IDs or create custom properties as the unique identifier.

Generating Reports with AI

With HubSpot AI, you can create reports with a simple prompt. Using AI-assisted reports, you can easily build the perfect report to answer critical business questions.

Use Case

Report creation can be very time-consuming and difficult. Reporting is easier than ever with HubSpot AI. Building reports with AI can save you time and provide new insights.

Associate Records of the Same Object Type

Customers can associate CRM records with other CRM records of the same type, such as contacts with contacts or deals with deals. HubSpot's core tools can leverage these new associations across contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and custom objects.

Use Case

Customers want HubSpot to reflect the reality of their business, which often includes a web of contacts or related companies. HubSpot customers have been missing key relationships since they cannot connect contacts to contacts, companies to companies, and other objects to their same type.

Company Color Palettes in Report Builder

The Single Object and Custom Report Builders now support brand colors set in Branding.

Use Case

HubSpot reports require Company Color Palettes in Report Builders to maintain brand consistency. By adding brand colors to Reporting color palettes, this feature addresses the common problem of disjointed visual presentation.

New Custom Funnel Report Builder Supports Optional Stages and Company Lifecycle Stages

Stages can now be marked as optional when creating a funnel report. This lets entities (like deals or contacts) at the end of the funnel skip some stages in between the first and last stages.

HubSpot is also extending custom funnel reports to support company lifecycle stages for marketers using account-based marketing.

Use Case

  1. You can now designate a middle stage as "optional."
  2. You can now use the company lifecycle stage to create a funnel.

Percentage Format for Number Properties

Now customers can create custom number properties formatted as percentages.

Use Case

With this change, you will be able to more accurately represent data in the CRM, such as calculating sales commissions or likelihood of closing a deal.

Conditional Property Options

Now you can define conditional property options that will be reflected throughout the CRM. Based on the value of another property, you can filter down the options available for a given property.

As an example, if the department is Engineering, the roles will be Engineering Manager, Engineer, and Director of Engineering.

Use Case

This feature allows admins to surface only the relevant property options to users during data entry. By preventing users from saving incorrect options, this feature gives admins greater control over data quality.

Set the Currency Type for Custom Calculated Deal Properties to use Record Currency

It is now possible for admins to set the currency type for custom calculated deal properties to match the record's currency.

Use Case

With today's release, customers will be able to better represent their currency data on records by setting their currency type to that of the record.

A simpler way to add new Meetings on Mobile

You can now view your schedule on the go with Mobile Calendar. You can now create new meetings wherever you are, whenever you want.

Use Case

It used to be difficult to create meetings on mobile devices. It was possible to create new events under contact records, but scheduling was not visible. You would need to exit the contact record and return to the calendar from the home screen to see this. We now have the calendar viewable from the same screen as the create meeting flow - i.e. the contact record.

Summarize a Record in HubSpot

Whenever you view CRM records in HubSpot, you'll now be able to view company, contact, deal, and ticket summaries. In addition to a list of top properties, record summaries include a summary of associated notes, emails, calls, meetings, and tasks.

Use Case

From these record pages, you can now access a quick summary of your companies, contacts, deals, and tickets. Rather than scrolling and searching for key information on records, you can focus on your core tasks.

Add Additional Emails and Domains in Bulk via Import

You can now include columns with "additional domains" or "additional email addresses" in your import files. You can also add multiple secondary emails or domains per record by simply separating them with a semicolon.

Use Case

With bulk import of secondary domains and email addresses, users can get their data into HubSpot quickly and focus on more critical tasks.

Edit and Auto-Save Properties in Record Middle Column Cards

Record middle column cards, including property list, stage tracker, and association property list cards, can now be edited and saved automatically. By doing this, you can update properties quickly without having to search for them in the left sidebar.

Use Case

On record pages, users want to be able to edit properties for middle column cards.

Create customizable stage tracker card on all CRM objects

On all CRM object types, you can now create a stage tracker card to display pipeline or lifecycle stage progress for contacts, deals, tickets, companies, and custom objects. The properties displayed within the card can also be customized.

Use Case

The users want to create a stage tracker for all CRM objects, including contacts, companies, and custom objects. Using this visualization, you can see how an account is progressing quickly and easily. As well as customizing four important properties, you can also add your own.

56+ New and 20+ Updated Apps in the App Marketplace

The HubSpot App Marketplace recently added 56+ new integrations, including a new integration with Teamwork.com . In addition, 20+ integrations have recently been updated with new features

Use Case

HubSpot's App Marketplace has over 1,500 integrations, and new integrations are added every day, as well as improvements to existing integrations. With HubSpot's new and updated integrations, customers can grow more effectively.

The Integration Sync card is rolling out to 5 more Data Sync Integrations:

New Shopify Integration, with New Orders and Carts Objects, Powered by Data Sync
