HUBER Technology, Inc. Breaks Ground on Expanding Their US Manufacturing Facility
HUBER Technology US
A World Leader in Water, Wastewater, Sludge and Waste Treatment
On October 7th, 2022 HUBER Technology, Inc., the United States and Canadian subsidiary for HUBER Group headquartered in Berching, Bavaria, Germany, broke ground on an unprecedented expansion at their Denver, North Carolina manufacturing facility. The cost for the project is expected to be near $40mil USD.
The expansion of the American subsidiary will initially create about 50 new jobs in Lincoln County after completion. It is the largest single investment in the company's history and, according to CEO Georg Huber, the beginning of a new phase.
CEO Georg Huber, "This is result of three decades of hard work and dedication."
"This landmark event here today in Denver, North Carolina is the result of three decades of hard work and dedication," said CEO Georg Huber in his speech at the official groundbreaking ceremony. "And it is the starting point of a new phase in the company's history, not only for HUBER USA, but for the entire HUBER Group. It is the largest single investment in the group's history, demonstrating our commitment and belief in the US market for the future. I want to thank everyone who has been and continues to be with us on this journey."
When the previous location in Huntersville, NC reached its limits due to ever-increasing sales, HUBER USA moved to the new location 15 miles northwest to Denver, NC at the end of February 2020. This provided more space and possibilities for what would be an inevitable future expansion.
In the year of HUBER's 150th anniversary, the US subsidiary is now taking a big step towards completely independent production. If you would like to watch a YouTube video on the 150-Year Anniversary of HUBER, please click HERE.
