Any car enthusiast strolling through the streets of Sydney can't help but notice the increase in Tesla, BMW i8's or the mundane Lexus Hybrid's. Its therefore timely that one of Australia's major utilities has taken the bold move to make a sizeable equity investment within the efficient energy sector. 

As the Australian market gets used to life post the resources boom one has to hope that more CEO's will follow the AGL lead and seek to support the development of alternative & sustainable industries.
