Honoring Our Elders Indeed! 8-24-2023
·??????What a great day it was spending time with the last two aunts left on either side of my family. There were so many hugs, so much love,?and soooo much laughter! It was a blessing for my cousin and me to be with our aunts, and we saw some cousins too. Even though we're close in age to one of our aunts, we give honor to those who honor is due, and they definitely deserve to be honored.?
·??????All of us agreed that it was wonderful having sweet fellowship, and we don’t know if that would be the last time. Nevertheless, we were thankful, and we took advantage of the opportunity that the Lord ordained for us to be together.
·??????Today, I want to say this, if you have family, love on them like never before, time is moving on rapidly and evil is out of control; redeeming the time,?because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).
·??????I talked to Father God before we left to meet our aunts and I was looking forward to our fellowship with such anticipation, I said this to Him: “Lord, I just want this to be a day of laughter,” and it happened. We loved up on our aunts like never before, and boy did we have a time reminiscing about the past. What a time, what a time, what a time!
·??????There was so much laughter! A?merry heart?does good,?like?medicine (Proverbs 17:22).
·??????Want to make someone feel good? Give them a hug, show them some love, help them to be encouraged. It may be the very thing they need to have a better day.
Have a joyous day!
