Let’s Celebrate Wonderful Memories of Martin Luther King Jr - Lest We Forget!

·??????As we celebrate the legacy of a great man, let’s not forget to follow his example as he modeled Christ. Follow my example,?as I follow the example of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).

·??????Thank God for men and women like Martin Luther King Jr and all the other forerunners who put their lives on the line so we could be free. Although the world is in an uproar and evil is everywhere, and some are saying there is no peace.

·??????There is only way one can have peace in this world system and that is the inner peace that comes from and through Christ. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).

·??????However, Jesus did bring peace and so did Martin Luther King Jr advocate peace through non-violence regardless of how he was persecuted, and all manner of evil was spoken against him falsely (Matthew 5:10-12).

·??????Let’s not forget that whatever is going on around us with things getting worse, we are still called to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9).

·??????Let’s not forget to celebrate the man Martin Luther King Jr who was ordained by God to make a difference.

·??????Let’s not forget to allow God to use us to make a difference (Matthew 5:16). We are to model Christ our Savior. Now all things?are?of God,?who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18).

·??????In other words, we were alienated (estranged) from God and He sent Christ to reconcile (restore) us to Him.

Let us always remember a great man of God – Martin Luther King Jr!
