Why is God Being Cheated of what Belongs to Him? 2-2-2022

Greetings saints of the Most-High God. I would like to say that whoever opposes my posts, I suggest that you go to the Word and do a 2 Timothy 2:15 (study) or go to Acts 17:11 (search the scriptures for yourself) and stop believing what you may have been taught erroneously.

If you do not agree with me, it should never affect our friendship or our kinship. I strongly suggest that you do not take it personal. I may disagree with some of my brothers and sisters, but my love for them does not change, which is a mark of maturity.

Today, I am picking up from the message about “Giving God what belongs to Him.” Before going into today’s message, it is important to know that God owns everything, including us (Psalm 24:1; Psalm 50:10-11).

Therefore, no one has a right to not give God what is His. God loves us so much that He only keeps ten per-cent for Himself. That is the reason we need to honor God with what He has given us to manage.

You read about us honoring and worshipping Jesus Christ our soon coming King with our tithes, which is an act of worship.

The scripture that many people use an excuse for not paying tithes is, “that was under the Old covenant.” When people say or believe that tithing is not for today, it is due to not being taught properly, or they want to justify not giving God the ten per-cent He requires from them.

This is what the scripture says: Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, how have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a cursed because you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse [church] that there will be meat [provisions] in My house, and test Me said the Lord of hosts, if I will not open up the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sake…. (Malachi 3:8-11).

Although God was talking to the nation of Israel, the principle remains the same for His people today. Not only that, when God says test Him, He wants to prove to us that whatever He says He will do.

In the near future I will share my testimony pertaining to how my cup is running over, along with what happens when you give your all for the sake of the kingdom.

Back to the tithes, which is a command; God is not asking “Will you bring?”

I have heard people use an excuse by saying the Lord said “bring.” What about those who are sick, can they take their tithes to the church? Is it wrong to let someone else take your tithes for you? What about using excuses because of the Covid-19 Pandemic?

God does not accept excuses. If you are a member of a church, you should take or send your tithes, the church is the storehouse that will help the underprivileged. If you are a child of God and you are not a member of a church, you should sow on good ground (a ministry that is teaching the Word), although it is good to be a member of a local church.

Study the Word, so you can be blessed for obeying God. Please stop saying you are not giving your money to the preacher and so on. The tithes belong to God and you should be glad He gives you ninety percent and He is only requiring ten percent. God is so gracious in blessing us with so much and we have the audacity to use excuses for not giving God what belongs to Him.

What happens when you do not obey God? He said you are cursed with a curse, meaning you will not prosper with the better things that He has for you. He will not rebuke the devourer. Your money will be going in and out of your hands as fast as you get it. In fact, you may not have enough to live on from one paycheck to the other.
