My Experiences with Praying in the Spirit (Intercession) - (Part 2) 5-31-2020
This is further encouragement to motivate the readers to walk in the spirit and God will do an incredible work in and through you to edify others, so our incredible God can be glorified.
I was going to travel from Philadelphia to Greensboro, and someone dropped me off at the airport. After checking in, I waited quite a while before boarding the airplane.
During that time, I began to pray in the spirit (my tongue language- not out loud), and it was revealed to me that my friend who was picking me up from the airport in Greensboro, was in danger.
We boarded the plane and were seated, waiting for take-off. The pilot started taxiing out, and all of a sudden, he said: “Folks, we have something of a critical nature going on”. So, He taxied back to the terminal.
A lady sitting beside me seemed to be really nervous and I said: “Miss, do not worry; I have prayed”.
The lady and I were seated on the luggage compartment side of the plane and we saw a box being taken from the luggage compartment.
Then the plane started taxying back out again, and this time the pilot said: “There is a delay because a plane coming in from California has to make an emergency landing”.
Two lanes were opened for the twelve planes to take-off whenever they would get clearance to proceed. Finally, the pilot said: “We are number five and that is a blessing”. It made me feel good when he used the word “Blessing”.
A short while later, the pilot received clearance for the plane to take-off. Finally, we were in the air and about an hour and a half later the plane landed in Greensboro.
Once I was able to get my luggage and go where my friend was, I asked her this: “Mary, did anything happen here at the airport?” She replied: “Yes, they arrested a man”.
From hearing what my friend said, I had no doubt that there was a connection between the box that was taken off the plane in Philadelphia and the man who was arrested in Greensboro. And, it was a dangerous situation for my friend and everybody else at the airport.
I truly thank the Lord for all those who are interceding and standing in the gap for whatever or whomever the Holy Spirit prompts them to pray for. It is a privilege to pray such powerful prayers in the spirit that cause catastrophes to be stopped.
When I first started interceding, it seemed to be a difficult task, but as I grew and matured in it, I certainly considered it an awesome privilege and as time went on and continues to go on, my passion to intercede increases the more.
Before starting with the gifts given by God the Father in Romans 12:6-8, I want to share something that is very crucial for the children of God to read.
God wants us to know and understand what we are commanded to do when it comes to those who have such hatred of others that they would take innocent peoples’ lives. This is murder.
