HSF health plan (Malta) celebrates one year in business
HSF Health Plan (Malta)
HSF Health Plan Malta delivers medical cover and additional wellbeing benefits to company employees.
Exactly a year ago in December 2021, HSF health plan launched in Malta. The current health insurance market in Malta has been around since 1970 – but the cash plan we offer is the first of its kind. Read for some of our best moments between 2021-2022.?
So, what makes our health cash plans different from standard health insurance? Firstly, our cash plans are high value, but low cost when looking at the range of everyday health costs that policyholders can cover. The widely accessible cash plan means employees can take a proactive, preventative approach to their healthcare, rather than reactive. The hassle-free claims process makes it fast and easy to use – which is a unique benefit.??
With a year of successes and continued growth, here are our top 3 moments over the last 12 months:?
1?? The official launch of HSF health plan (Malta)’s Everyday Wellness cash plan.?
The first HSF cash plan in Malta was launched on December 1st. Since then, it’s been our mission to spread the word and encourage corporate customers to empower their employees prioritise their wellbeing with access to easy, high value healthcare benefits.?
2?? Networking with thought-leading professionals to revolutionise workplace benefits?
Throughout the year, we’ve met with various entities and groups such as FHRD , The Malta Chamber , and Malta Business Network . This presented the opportunity to get to know the needs of employees across the country and share our values with business owners and HR professionals.?

3?? Awarding our first charity grants in Malta?
What makes HSF health plan (Malta) so unique is that we are the trading arm of the Hospital Saturday Fund charity. All profits made from cash plans are passed onto the charity and donated to charitable causes in Ireland, Malta, and the UK. ?
In our first year of business in Malta, on behalf of the Hospital Saturday Fund, our Group CEO, Mr Paul Jackson, has awarded two grants to Maltese charities whose president is The President Emeritus of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca (well known in Malta for her untiring assistance to less fortunate people and social justice). Another grant will be awarded to the Hospice Malta, just in time for Christmas.?
This Christmas, we’d love to say a big thank you to existing customers and the healthcare and professional network we have built over the last year. We look forward to meeting more and more organisations and hope to continue revolutionising healthcare and wellbeing in the workplace as we know it in Malta.?
Merry Christmas and happy new year!?
