The new HS250 VT-D SERVO continuous packer, equipped with an innovative dosing device at the infeed, represents the ideal SMIPACK solution for the packaging vertically oriented products, without having to change their position. This model is particularly suitable for packaging bottles, canisters, aerosols, Tetra Pak, paper rolls, etc. and, thanks to the applied technology, meets the requirements of Industry 4.0.
Optimal packaging for vertical products
The product is conveyed by a one- or two-lanes infeed conveyor to the dosing device, which divides it according to the format. The longitudinal sealing takes place in the lower part by a hot sealing blade, then it continues towards the cross-sealing bar equipped with double movement (opening/closing and translation on the horizontal axis) which carries out the front and rear sealing.This process ensures a fully closed and sealed package on three sides, but most importantly, it enhances aesthetics.
This innovative packaging solution utilizes servo motors to ensure consistent precision throughout the entire packaging process and high productivity, capable of achieving speeds of up to 80 packs per minute. By adding a shrink tunnel at the exit of the packaging machine, it is possible to obtain compact packs, thus offering an additional level of stability and protection along the distribution chain.
