HR Maximizer Announces Agenda and Sponsorships for Dallas Healthcare Human Resources Conference

Dallas, TX - HR Maximizer Inc announced today that several senior HR executives, managers and professionals will attend a two day event on April 2nd and 3rd, 2020 in the Arts District of Downtown Dallas focused on the attraction, engagement and retention of clinical staff.

"The HR Maximizer conference will focus on attracting, engaging and retaining the best clinical talent available and will feature several HR leaders from the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as from the Houston Healthcare Human Resources Association (HHHRA is the Houston, Texas affiliate subchapter of ASHHRA)," says Leah Ramsey, Vice President of HR Maximizer Inc and an HHHRA board member.

The two day event has been approved for 9.5 Continuing Education Credits via SHRM. CHHR and HRCI are pending approval.

"This year we want to take a more collaborative approach, so we decided to use a mix of presentations, panel discussions, as well as group discussions so that all can engage in the conference throughout the day for maximum retention and connection amongst attendees" says Rollis Fontenot III, president of HR Maximizer Inc.

This year's conference features top local HR leaders such as Felicia Miller of Parkland Hospital and Dr. Susan Hanold of ADP, but also visiting speakers from other states including Robert Middleton, MBA, MSN from Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in New Mexico and Cathy Henesey, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHHR from AdventHealth in Florida.

HHHRA Board Members are also offering support including Gary L. Marsh, JD, SHRM-SCPLaura Matthews, MS, SHRM-SCPKellie Payne-Spencer, M.Ed, PHR, and Leah Rose Ramsey, JD, MPA, of Houston Healthcare HR Association (HHHRA) as guest speakers/moderators! 

Also, American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) Regional Consultant, Rebecca (Becky) Stirzaker will be serve as as a panelist.

Kris Kort SHRM-CP and Veronica Williams, SHRM-CP assisted in the organization of the event and are also participating as moderators or panelists. Demetré Bivins, MS Conflict Management and Angela Tyson, MBA-HR are invited panelists.

“I am excited about attending and participating in this conference. I look forward to engaging HR Pros in their area and hopefully bringing life back to the local Dallas Healthcare HR Association subchapter,” says Veronica Williams, SHRM-CP, Talent Management Supervisor of Southwest Transplant Alliance.

Dr. Ramona Brooks DABPM, FACFAOM, MT (AMT),MLT (ASCP), Board Certified Staff Podiatrist with Preferred Podiatry Group PC, says that she is “looking forward to returning as a panelist at the upcoming HR Maximizer event in Dallas. It is a great opportunity to network with others and discuss the important topic of provider burnout/wellness at this year's event.”

Group discussions will involve the audience being divided into smaller groups to discuss ways to implement what was shared in the presentations and panels immediately preceding.

Fontenot continues, "The conference will move at a fast pace similar to prior conferences by limiting each presentation, panel, or group discussion to 30 minutes. We received excellent feedback on the pace of our past conferences as well as the amount of information covered."
